Tunnels….

These tunnels are absolutely amazing me!  If I were to sit on a bucket and watch them for 1 hour, I know I would see them grow. This week, the tomato plants were budding and the cucumbers were actually cucumbers!  Continuing to water 4 times daily for about 6 minutes which seems to be plenty of water.   We will place disinfecting containers at the entrances of the tunnels today.  They will have sponges in them for visitors to step on prior to entering the tunnels.  This will help prevent the spread of bacteria to our plants.  Itai is still in Zimbabwe but is expected back in about 10 days.   We will begin packaging of cucumbers on Saturday.  This will include plastic sleeves for each cucumber and a heat gun.  Afterwards, we will deliver our first produce to market.  Please continue to pray for guidance and wisdom as we navigate the next 2 weeks.  These are very critical days in the life of this project.  God bless you all and thanks for partnering with us on this journey!!
