I am currently sitting in Sunset, SC.  Our family has a house there and our we are all here for the week hiking, swimming, and just hanging out.  Sunset is in the Appalacian Mountains and is about 2 hours from Knoxville.  (About 5 hours from good ole College Grove)

The best part about being away is hanging with the kids 24/7.  I get to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with them and it is fabulous!  Tonight, I read Psalm 127:3-5 which says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.  Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.  Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them….”

My three children truly are blessings in my life.  They are an expression of the love Courtney and I have for one another.  We look forward to going to Ethiopia soon to pick up our daughter Bristol.  The closer we get to this, the more our hearts long to get our hands on her.  We pray God’s protection on her while we are separated.  WE LOVE YOU BRISTOL AND WE LONG FOR YOUR ARRIVAL!
