Father’s Day

One of the greatest blessings in my life is my dad.  He has consistently lead our family in the light of God’s love.  He taught my brothers and I  what our priorities in life should be.  He lived out a life perspective that has shaped and molded me into the father that I am today.  Today, I give thanks for this man of God who has spent 31 years living out for me what a father looks like.

“My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard.  Mother would come out and say, “You’re tearing up the grass.”  “We’re not raising grass,” Dad would reply.  “We’re raising boys.”  ~Harmon Killebrew
