I am a little late in posting about my gift basket experience the week of Christmas.  This experience had a real significant impact on me and enhanced my Christmas season tremendously this year.  We at TLC Medical decided to do gift baskets for some of our patients rather than spend the money on a company Christmas party.  I asked our techs and customer service employees to put together a list for me of 10 needy patients.  I was blown away when I got the list and it had approximately 20 names on it.  When I got the list, I started discussing each patient with the employees and we narrowed the list down to 10.

This beautiful lady that I am pictured with above has been through more than I can describe.  I didn’t know what to expect when I knocked on the door.  When she opened the door, she was very stand-offish at first.  She seemed intimidated by my presence in her home.  After a few minutes, see started warming up to me.  We spent the next 30 or so minutes laughing and cutting up.  She was an amazing woman and I am blessed to have met her.  I made 5 more basket deliveries that I will probably write about soon.  For now, all I can say is that I went on these deliveries to be a blessing to those that I saw and ended up being the one to receive blessings beyond description.

“And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of my brethren, you did it to Me.”  Matthew 25:40
