I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the last 10 months.  Although we are disappointed in the results of last night, we are thankful that God is still in control.

As a son, I am extremely proud of my dad and the race that he ran.  Last night when the outcome became evident, he told the crowd that he was resolved now more than ever to fight for the values that he believes are at risk in this country.  I know he will!

Now that we have a new president elect in our country, I urge everyone to start praying for him.  Regardless of how you feel about his election, we have a responsibility to lift him up to the Lord.  I pray that the conservative base of this country recognizes that the results of last night are a reflection of our unwillingness to engage.  Maybe this will be the wake-up call that was needed.  As we pray for our new president, may we resolve to full-fill our obligation to country by challenging him in any endeavor that goes against what we hold true as Americans.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”  Theodore Roosevelt
